Who will be the next to commit to Oregon?

Last Wednesday, Oregon secured a commitment from 4-star safety Xavier Lherisse. He joins a 2026 class that ranks No. 2 in the nation. But who will be the next recruit to commit to Oregon? Here are my top six most likely candidates.
6. EDGE Derek Colman-Brusa
The longtime Washington lean has started to trend toward the Ducks in recent months. I feel confident saying Oregon holds the lead heading into the spring. He has official visits scheduled to Washington, UCLA, USC, Ohio State, and Oregon, but I wouldn’t be surprised if this recruitment ends before those visits.
5. DL Nemyah Telona
Telona visited Oregon for Junior Day in January, and since then, the Ducks have been leading in his recruitment. Oregon already has four defensive line commits in the 2026 class, so the question is whether there’s room for another. At the very least, they’re keeping an eye on him in case a spot opens up. He’s also from De La Salle High School, where Tosh Lupoi has strong ties.
4. QB Jared Curtis
The one every Oregon fan is hoping for. Jared Curtis will be on campus this weekend, and this visit could be the deciding factor. Oregon holds a SLIGHT edge heading in, but with a Georgia visit coming up as well, it’s still wide open. I wouldn’t be surprised if his recruitment wraps up by the end of the month.
3. LB Talanoa Ili
Oregon has been setting the pace in this recruitment for months. He has official visits scheduled, but it wouldn’t be surprising if he commits before taking them. USC and Oklahoma are the biggest threats, but with Oregon having been in front for so long, I wouldn't be surprised if a decision comes sooner rather than later.
2. DB Davon Benjamin
Out of everyone on this list, Oregon has been setting the pace for Benjamin the longest. If Oregon doesn't end up landing him, it would be a massive loss considering how hard they're pushing for him. Like the other guys on this list, Oregon has been leading for so long it wouldn't surprise me at all if he commits before June. Benjamin seems like a "when," not "if," for Oregon.
1. OL Tommy Tofi
Tofi is arguably Oregon's top interior OL target in the 2026 class, and Oregon is in great position to land him heading into the spring. He visited for Junior Day, but even before that, it looked like Oregon had the lead in his recruitment. USC, UCLA, and Cal are Oregon's main competition, but this one is shaping up extremely well for the Ducks, and a commitment could happen sooner rather than later.
