Where Oregon Stands With Every 5-Star Recruit Still on the Board
RECRUITING FOOTBALL

We’re entering the official visit phase, and Oregon is gearing up for a big push over the next month and a half. Right now, the Ducks have one 5-star committed in TE Kendre Harrison. They previously held commitments from Kodi Greene and Richard Wesley, but both have since decommitted. I expect Oregon to land at least three — and possibly four or five — 5-stars when it’s all said and done. Here’s where things stand with every uncommitted 5-star the Ducks are still chasing.
OT Immanuel Iheanacho
Immanuel Iheanacho kicked off his official visits this past weekend with a trip to LSU, and the Tigers are Oregon’s top competition right now. I haven’t heard anything new about Oregon’s standing with Iheanacho, but it’s clear this recruitment isn’t a lock for the Ducks. Oregon will get the final official visit, but he also still plans to check out Auburn and Penn State before making his decision on August 5th.
QB Ryder Lyons
Things are starting to shift in this recruitment. USC is fading, while BYU is emerging as Oregon’s biggest competition. Lyons is set to visit USC this weekend, Oregon on June 13-15, and BYU on June 20-22. He’s planning to take a one-year mission, which plays in BYU’s favor given their faith ties, but his strongest relationship is with Will Stein and Oregon. I still believe the Ducks have the edge, though things are getting a little murky. And while USC is slipping, I’m not ready to count them out just yet.
SAF Jett Washington
I still like Oregon as the team to beat as his official visits get underway, but he’s added two more trips to Ohio State and USC on top of Oregon and Alabama. He’s already been to Bama, and Oregon will get the final visit with a shot to close the deal.
LB Tyler Atkinson
Atkinson will be a tough pull for Oregon, but it’s a battle worth taking. Georgia and Ohio State look like the frontrunners, with Clemson and Oregon rounding out his top four. He’s expected to take an official visit to Oregon, though no date has been publicly set. Don’t get your hopes too high for this one — but in recruiting, anything can happen.
WR Calvin Russell
Russell will be in Eugene this weekend for his official visit, but it feels like the Ducks have some ground to make up. To be honest, this recruitment has been tough to track, and with him being from Florida, you have to think the in-state and nearby schools have the edge. That said, his last visit to Oregon did enough to keep them in the mix and land this OV. We’ll see if the Ducks can make another push this weekend. Don't sleep on Oregon here.
SAF Jireh Edwards
Oregon, Georgia, and Alabama are leading the way heading into official visits, with the Ducks set to get the final trip from Edwards. From what I’ve heard, there isn’t much separation between those three right now. Oregon has a real shot to land two out of Edwards, Washington, and O’Brien — but it definitely won’t come easy.
SAF Joey O'Brien
Speaking of O’Brien, he’ll be in Eugene this weekend for his official visit. This is shaping up to be a battle between Oregon, Penn State, and Notre Dame. Landing him won’t be easy with the distance factor, but Oregon’s pulled it off before and can absolutely do it again. I don’t love that the other two schools get visits after the Ducks, but Oregon is still very much a legitimate contender here.
CB Brandon Arrington
This recruitment still feels wide open. Oregon looked strong coming out of his spring game visit, but that momentum has cooled since. Right now, Oregon, USC, and Texas A&M are the three I’m watching closest, and his official visits will be key. The good news for Oregon is they’ll get the final visit before a decision. We’ll see if the Ducks can close on the fastest recruit in the 2026 class.
EDGE Richard Wesley
Wesley will be back in Eugene this weekend, and the Ducks remain the team to beat. The longer this drags on, the tougher it gets for Oregon—but for now, they’re still looking very strong.
EDGE Anthony Jones
Jones will take his official visit to Oregon on June 13-15, with Auburn and Alabama as the main competition. Oregon’s a dark horse in this one, and pulling a top target out of SEC country is never easy — though they managed it last year with Na’eem Offord. We’ll see if the Ducks can make another move during his visit.
