What's next for Oregon recruiting? 8/9

RECRUITING FOOTBALL

8/9/20241 min read

Oregon's recruiting has definitely cooled down a little bit but regardless this class is still really good. It wouldn't surprise me if Oregon only signs around 22 names this cycle. Not because they can't sign more, but because numbers wise, there really isn't room for a class bigger than 25.

Keenan Britt:

Britt is a 4-Star 2026 edge rusher who is committing tomorrow. Oregon had all the momentum for the last 2-3 weeks but now it looks like South Carolina will be the pick. It's a loss, but only a minor one. Nothing to be upset about.

Jonah Williams:

He's set to commit August 24th and I don't really have an update on him. This recruitment is likely going to come down to the wire and all four teams involved still have a shot.

Michael Terry:

Jonah and Terry are really the only uncommitted 2025 prospects still on the board. Oregon and Texas are still his top two, and Nebraska should not be discounted as well. This is neck and neck right now with a commitment potentially coming before his senior season.

Kodi Greene:

Greene is a top 32 overall ranked OT in the 2026 class. Oregon has been the favorite for quite a while and it sounds like he might commit sooner than later. He also just transferred to Mater Dei so he could help recruit Chris Henry Jr among others.

Andrew Olesh:

Oregon just offered Olesh and this is important because he's a 2025 tight end. He's ranked in the top 100 and he's currently committed to Michigan. This could be someone who Oregon turns up the heat up on.

Flips Flips Flips...

Flip season is coming again and this time around, Oregon should be the ones having fun.
