RECRUITING FOOTBALL

The second round of OV's starts for Oregon this weekend and a number of elite prospects will be on campus.

4-Star WR Marcus Harris:

UCLA is trending for Harris and I won't be surprised if he commits sooner than later. Oregon has an opportunity to gain the momentum back this weekend. (UPDATE 5/13: He is visiting Oklahoma this weekend)

4-Star LB Gavin Nix:

Nix is a Florida product and Oregon has a big task ahead of them if they want to land the blue-chip LB. Miami recently got a crystal ball to land him so it's safe to assume Miami leads. Oregon needs to make a move this weekend.

4-Star DL Trajen Odom:

Oregon trails Ohio State but the ducks should absolutely not be counted out in this one. USC is also involved but they are running third.

4-Star RB Jordon Davison:

Oregon trails Ohio State for Davison going into this visit and the buckeyes also get the final visit. This is going to be a tough pull but nothing is impossible.

4-Star Safety Kainoa Winston:

This visit could get canceled as Winston had phenomenal visits to Penn State and Michigan the last two weeks. If he does make to campus, Oregon needs to make a move. Winston is personally one of my favorite recruits this cycle, but the ducks have work to do. (UPDATE 6/14: He has committed to Michigan and will not visit)

4-Star LB Noah Mikhail:

Mikhail is set to commit June 30th and will take his OV this weekend. Oregon has seen two RPM's for him to land in Eugene but DO NOT discount Texas A&M. Oregon and A&M are neck and neck right now and the aggies get the last visit. USC is also a player but they seem to be sitting third right now.

5-Star CB Dorian Brew:

Brew visited USC last weekend and I'm a little surprised he hasn't committed yet. I don't think Oregon was prioritizing Brew early on and I think that is hurting the ducks in this one. Oregon still has a chance but this visit needs to blow him away.

5-Star TE Linkon Cure:

Kansas State is the leader right now but Oregon is not far behind at all. Texas A&M made a move last weekend but I think this will come down to the Wildcats and Ducks.

4-Star DL Josiah Sharma:

Oregon quickly jumped on Sharma after he decommitted from Washington but Alabama seems to have the lead. He has a great connection with Deboer and the ducks will have to overcome that.

5-Star CB Na'eem Offord:

Offord visited a few weeks ago and he has a ton of respect for Dan Lanning and company. Offord seems locked in with Ohio State but Oregon is chipping away and this visit could make things interesting.

4-Star Safety Omarion Robinson:

Robinson is announcing his commitment June 29th but Oregon is at best third right now. This visit needs to go really well if Oregon wants to land him

4-Star IOL Douglas Utu:

Utu will be in Eugene this weekend for his OV. Oregon is one of his top schools but are battling Nebraska, Alabama, Michigan, and others.
