USC to Host One of Oregon’s Commits for Multiple Visits
RECRUITING FOOTBALL

USC is starting to build some serious recruiting momentum under head coach Lincoln Riley. The Trojans now hold the No. 1 ranked 2026 recruiting class, surpassing Oregon, which sits at No. 2. While Riley has only flipped one Oregon commit—Jonas Williams—since taking over at USC, the Trojans are becoming more aggressive in their recruiting efforts. They are making a strong push for multiple Oregon commits, and one of them is set to take multiple visits to Los Angeles.
Oregon’s five-star offensive tackle commit, Kodi Greene, tells me that he plans to visit USC later this month, followed by an official visit from June 20th-22nd. Hayes Fawcett recently reported the official visit, but I still wanted to make a post on this. I would have posted it earlier, but I found out this morning right before I had to leave. Regardless, USC is becoming more of a recruiting threat under their revamped front office, and Greene is becoming a top target for them.
Greene previously visited Oregon for Junior Day in January and is likely to return later this spring. However, his official visit to Eugene is already locked in for June 6th-8th. In addition to USC, he will also take an official visit to Texas the following week, but at this point, I see USC as the bigger threat to Oregon compared to the Longhorns. The Trojans are putting in significant effort to flip him.
While it’s never ideal for a program to see its commits taking visits elsewhere, Greene will be extremely tough to flip. His relationships with the Oregon staff are by far the strongest, and he has always spoken highly of the Ducks. These visits seem to be more about making sure he’s making the right decision rather than seriously considering flipping. USC still has a long way to go, and prying Greene away from Oregon will not be easy.
USC’s recruiting efforts in the 2026 class are improving, but if their on-field performance does not take a step forward this season, Lincoln Riley’s job could be in jeopardy, which would likely cause their class to fall apart. As things stand, the Trojans are making things more competitive for Oregon on the recruiting trail. They are also pushing to flip other Oregon commits, including Tomuhini Topui and Bott Mulitalo, with some real buzz surrounding them around Topui. We’ll see how things unfold, and I’ll continue to update you as I get more intel.
