We're starting to get a grasp on who Oregon's main 2026 targets are, and new names keep popping up. Oregon is looking to build on their 2025 defensive back haul, which was the best in the nation, and now the #2 ranked corner in the 2026 class tells me he has two visits in mind to Oregon.
Elite 4-star cornerback Khary Adams tells me he will visit Oregon in the spring and then take an official visit in the summer. He doesn’t have any dates locked in yet, but he says he will be taking those visits. Adams is a 6'2, 175-pound CB from Loyola Blakefield High School in Towson, Maryland.
The state of Maryland will be very important for Oregon in 2026. A few targets from the state include 5-star OT Immanuel Iheanacho, 4-star safety Jireh Edwards, and 4-star CB Khary Adams as well. Oregon seems to have moved on from 5-star EDGE Zion Elee for some reason, so it doesn’t look like he will be an option going forward. Regardless, if Oregon is able to land any of these guys, it would be a major win.
Back to Khary Adams—he has over 35 offers, including some from Penn State, Notre Dame, South Carolina, and Auburn. Oregon no doubt has work to do in this recruitment, but with these two visits scheduled, Oregon could easily grab momentum and eventually land his commitment.
Adams is ranked much higher on 247Sports than the other services. On 247Sports, he is ranked #38 nationally and is the #2 corner in the nation. ESPN ranks him #96 nationally, while On3 has him at #251, and Rivals has him as just a 4-star. Adams will be someone to keep an eye on moving forward, and I know I keep saying that, but this is the time of year where we see who Oregon is really pushing for.
