The latest on EVERY 5-star Oregon is recruiting

RECRUITING FOOTBALL

Oregon is making a serious push for elite talent in the 2026 recruiting class, and I’ll be giving you the latest on every single 5-star prospect the Ducks are targeting. Right now, Oregon is after 15 different 5-stars, though that number would be even higher if recruiting services had already expanded their rankings to the usual top 32. The Ducks have already secured commitments from two of the nation’s best in 5-star TE Kendre Harrison and 5-star OT Kodi Greene, but they aren’t stopping there. Dan Lanning and his staff are in strong positions for several more top prospects, and I'll be breaking down where things stand with each of them as Oregon looks to build another dominant class.

OT Jackson Cantwell

Cantwell is the No. 1 recruit on Rivals, and he plans to take OVs to Miami, Missouri, Georgia, Michigan, and Oregon. Not much has changed since my last update, but Oregon and Georgia are neck and neck at the top, while Michigan and Missouri should not be counted out. Oregon is going all out to sign a top offensive tackle, and Cantwell is my betting favorite at this point.

CB Havon Finney

Finney is the No. 20 overall recruit on Rivals, and he recently reclassified to 2026 from the 2027 class. Oregon is at least among his top three, but his recruitment is starting to heat up a lot more now that he reclassified. USC is another school expected to be a major factor in this recruitment, but as it stands now, Oregon is in a good spot.

S Jireh Edwards

Edwards is the No. 15 ranked recruit by Rivals, and he is one of Oregon's top targets. He recently came out and said that Texas A&M was his leader, which was a little surprising, but Oregon is still very strongly in the mix. He will be back in Eugene on April 18, and Oregon will also get the final OV in June. I still like the way this is shaping up for Oregon.

CB Elbert Hill

Hill is ranked No. 14 by Rivals, and in my last update, I said Oregon was gaining buzz with Hill—that is still the case, but this recruitment is far from over. Alabama, USC, and Ohio State are also in serious contention, but I still think Oregon has the edge going into the spring. He will be back at Oregon later this spring.

QB Jared Curtis

Curtis is the No. 3 ranked recruit on On3, and he will be back on campus this weekend. Nothing has changed since my last update—I still feel Oregon has the slight edge going into this visit. However, Georgia gets him back on campus after that, so this recruitment could still have more twists and turns before it's settled. A commitment could come soon after these visits.

S Blaine Bradford

Bradford ranks No. 13 overall by Rivals, and the Ducks hosted him for their Junior Day event in January. However, Oregon's chances of landing him are low. Texas, LSU, and Ohio State are still well ahead of Oregon in this recruitment. I wouldn't be surprised if the staff moves on—if they haven't already.

5-star LB Tyler Atkinson

Atkinson is the No. 7 overall recruit in the 247Sports Composite, and he was scheduled to visit Oregon for Junior Day, but he caught the flu and couldn't make it. This was a big deal, as he has never been on campus yet. Oregon is still in communication with him, but this is another long shot for the Ducks. I still wouldn't be surprised to see him pop up on campus later this spring or summer for an OV.

OT Immanuel Iheanacho

Iheanacho is the No. 4 overall recruit on On3, and he will visit Oregon again soon, according to Steve Wiltfong. Not much has changed in this recruitment since my last update—Maryland is still the team to beat, with Oregon not far behind.

S Jett Washington

Washington ranks No. 25 overall in the 247Sports Composite, but he was taking his recruitment slowly while finishing his basketball season. Now that his season is over, he is focusing more on football. He recently released his top 11, and Oregon is no worse than third right now. He told me he will take an OV with Oregon but just doesn’t know which weekend in June yet. We should start getting more clarity on this recruitment soon.

QB Ryder Lyons

Lyons is the No. 3 overall recruit by Rivals, and he will visit Oregon in the spring and take an OV in the summer. His interview with Rivals seemed very positive for Oregon. The Ducks have always been strongly in the mix, but USC still appeared to be the leader. While they still could be, Oregon, Michigan, and BYU are all major threats to land him. Remember, he will be taking a one-year mission before college, so he is essentially a 2027 recruit.

CB Brandon Arrington

Arrington ranks No. 8 overall in the 247Sports Composite, and he has Oregon high on his list. I think USC and Alabama are slightly ahead of Oregon in this recruitment, but he is expected back this spring and already has an OV locked in for June 13. Arrington is arguably the fastest player in the 2026 class.

EDGE Anthony Jones

Jones is the No. 8 overall recruit by Rivals, and if Oregon lands him, it would be the second straight year they secure the top player in Alabama. However, Oregon has major work to do. Alabama and Auburn are leading the charge, and Oregon might not even be in his top five right now. He was supposed to visit for Junior Day but didn’t end up making it. Oregon needs to get him back on campus to have any shot here.

TE Mark Bowman

Bowman ranks No. 15 overall in the 247Sports Composite, and he is another player who reclassified from 2027 to 2026. Oregon is battling Georgia, Texas, and USC, but he will likely return in the spring, and Oregon is already locked in for his last OV in June. I don't know how much Kendre Harrison being committed factors into this recruitment, but right now, I’d put Oregon third behind Georgia and Texas, although USC should not be discounted.

WR Chris Henry Jr

Henry ranks No. 1 overall by ESPN and the longtime Ohio State commit is still entertaining Oregon. This will be a tough flip, but he keeps popping up and campus and already has his OV locked in so Oregon still has a shot to flip him. As of right now, my money is on him signing with Ohio State, but we saw Oregon shock everyone and flip Na'eem Offord from them so they could definitely do it again.

WR Boobie Feaster

Feaster is ranked No. 16 overall by Rivals, and he is yet another player who reclassified to 2026. He will visit Oregon this spring, but the Ducks seem to sit outside his top three going into that visit. LSU seems to be the team to beat, but if Oregon can get him to take an OV, things could get interesting.
