RECRUITING FOOTBALL

10/10/20251 min read

A lot has happened since my last update. Oregon is set to host an impressive group of visitors this weekend for the Indiana game, along with new developments on flip targets and more. Here’s the latest:

Indiana Visitor List:

(Will update this if more names get confirmed)

2026's:

5-star SAF Jett Washington (commit)

5-star CB Davon Benjamin (commit)

4-star SAF Devin Jackson (commit)

4-star DL Tony Cumberland (commit)

4-star EDGE Prince Tavizon (commit & OV)

4-star WR Milan Parris (OV)

4-star LB Braylon Hodge (OV)

2027's

4-star CB Donte Wright (UGA commit)

4-star RB Noah Roberts

4-star OL Gecova Doyal

4-star CB Josiah Molden

4-star EDGE Krew Jones

3-star WR/TE Charles Davis

Notes:

  • Amari and Xavier Sabb tell me they might be visiting this weekend.

  • 4-star 2027 recruits Jake Hildebrand, Lawrence Britt, and Gavin Williams were scheduled to visit, but will no longer make it.

  • Former Oregon 5-star WR commit Kesean Bowman will also not visit this weekend.

Commit Schedules Return Visit

Oregon 4-star DB commit Xavier Lherisse tells me he will be back in Eugene October 25th for the Ducks game against Wisconsin. He is coming off a recent visit to FSU.

New Flip Targets

Oregon is still recruiting 2026 4-star IOL Jax Tanner. He tells me they’re currently in talks for him to make it back to campus this season. Tanner committed to BYU over the Ducks back in July, and he also plans to serve a two-year LDS mission before starting college.

I’ve also confirmed that Oregon is still in communication with its former commit, 4-star DL Viliami Moala. Moala surprised many people by decommitting in the first place, and now that North Carolina’s future is in question, Oregon could be in prime position to get him back in the class, especially since DL is a position of need. We'll see how this continues to develop.

Quick Notes:

  • Does not appear that 5-star SAF and Notre Dame commit Joey O'Brien will visit Oregon this season.

  • The expectation is still that 4-star UGA commit Nick Abrams will visit at some point this season. Michigan is also heavily involved.

  • Oregon is still pushing for both Ohio State WR commits.
