Oregon has yet to land a wide receiver commitment in the 2026 class, but that will obviously change in the future. The Ducks lost wide receivers coach Junior Adams to the NFL and brought in Syracuse coach Ross Douglas to take over the role. It remains to be seen how strong of a recruiter he will be, but given that this is Oregon, it shouldn’t be too difficult. As Douglas works through his recruiting board, two new names have emerged—one from the 2026 class and one from 2027—according to Rivals' Ryan O'Bleness

The first prospect is elite 4-star wide receiver CJ Sadler. The 5-foot-11, 185-pound playmaker from Detroit, Michigan, is one of the most sought-after receivers in the country, holding nearly 40 offers. He has scheduled an unofficial visit to Oregon from April 4 to April 6 and is also planning an official visit at a later date. Along with Oregon, Sadler has visits lined up with Alabama, Auburn, Colorado, Michigan, Michigan State, Tennessee, and USC.

Sadler is widely regarded as a top wide receiver, and he's also the No. 1 player in Michigan for the 2026 class. His highest ranking comes from Rivals, where he is listed at No. 45 nationally, followed by 247Sports at No. 78, ESPN at No. 111, and On3 at No. 247. He is expected to play in the slot at the next level, and while Oregon is making a push, Michigan is currently considered the team to beat in his recruitment.

The second wide receiver expected to visit is 5-star 2027 WR Dakota Guerrant. The 6-foot-1, 185-pounder from Harper Woods, Michigan, has also locked in an unofficial visit to Oregon for April 4-6. While it hasn’t been confirmed, it makes sense that he and Sadler would be visiting together since they are both Michigan prospects with the same visit date. Guerrant also has visits scheduled with Michigan State, Ohio State, Penn State, and Tennessee this spring.

Guerrant is already one of the top-ranked wide receivers in the 2027 class. He holds a composite 5-star ranking on 247Sports, with his highest rating coming from On3, where he is ranked No. 17 nationally. He is also ranked No. 31 by 247Sports and No. 70 by Rivals. His recruitment is still in the early stages, but Oregon has already positioned itself as a program of interest. Now, he will make his first trip to Eugene to see what the Ducks have to offer.
