RECRUITING BASKETBALL

The Oregon Ducks are set to host a significant basketball visitor in the coming months as 5-star shooting guard Trey McKenney plans to visit Eugene on October 12th. McKenney, a 6'4", 225-pound standout from Flint, Michigan, is one of the most coveted recruits in the 2025 class.
While there isn't a clear leader in McKenney's recruitment at this stage, it's expected that Michigan and Michigan State will be tough to beat. McKenney is from Michigan so it will be much easier for him to stay closer to home than go across the country to Oregon.
In addition to his upcoming visit to Oregon, McKenney will visit many other schools. He will kick off his visits with USC on September 1st, followed by Michigan on September 28th, Michigan State on October 4th, Miami on October 26th, and Notre Dame on November 9th.
Oregon is also heavily involved in the recruitment of 4-Star small forward Winters Grady. The Ducks have emerged as the early frontrunner for Grady, who has strong ties to the state of Oregon despite transferring to Prolific Prep in Napa, California.
