Signing day is just over a month away, and the Oregon Ducks are gearing up to make some splashes. Oregon is currently sitting at #9 in the team recruiting rankings with only 16 commitments. If things continue to tend well, Oregon could sign a top 5 class. With a strong 8-0 start to the season, the coaching staff is actively working to capitalize on this by using it to recruit the nations best. And a uncommitted 5-star is slated to be in Eugene again next month.

One of Oregon's biggest remaining targets has reportedly scheduled a return visit to campus next month. According to Steve Wiltfong, 5-star DL Jahkeem Stewart will be back in Eugene on November 23rd, during Oregon's bye week. This visit is pivotal because it is two weeks before signing day. It isn't his last visit before signing day though, Stewart is expected back at Ohio State for the Michigan game.

Stewart was originally classified as a 2026 recruit, but he made the decision to reclassify to 2025. He previously visited Oregon during the Ohio State game, and that visit left a significant impression on him and his family. Coming out of that trip, Oregon made massive strides in his recruitment. Getting Stewart back on campus before signing day is a massive win for the Ducks, it will allow them to leave another impression on him as signing day gets closer.

While Oregon and Ohio State are the two schools generating the most buzz in Stewart's recruitment, LSU should not be counted out. USC is another team involved, but after a rocky start to the season, the trojans are starting to fade a bit. However, he is still expected to take a visit to USC sometime this season. Oregon is looking strong but they will need to maintain their momentum to be able to secure a commitment from Stewart.

Stewart is from New Orleans, Louisiana, and is one of the most coveted prospects in the country. Listed at 6'6 270 pounds, he ranks #14 overall in the 247Sports composite rankings and is a 5-star prospect. Stewart is one of the most physically imposing players in the country and he could make an instant impact if he were to sign with Oregon.

As signing day approaches, Oregon is looking to capitalize on their hot start to the season. Jahkeem Stewart could very well become apart of Oregon's recruiting class come December. And Oregon will once again be one of the most fun teams to watch down the stretch.
