Oregon had a phenomenal 2024 campaign that ended in heartbreaking fashion. The Ducks went 13-0, won the Big Ten, and then got blown out by Ohio State. In 2025, this Oregon team looks completely different. It’s a much younger and less experienced group, but the overall talent level is higher than it’s ever been. With that in mind, here are my score predictions for every game this season.

Week 1 vs Montana State

Prediction: 38-10, Win

Reasoning: Oregon is simply the more talented team. Now, they had a way too close game against Idaho last year, and to be fair, Montana State did go 15-1. But even with that, I just don’t see any way Oregon loses this game.

Week 2 vs Oklahoma State

Prediction: 42-13, Win

Reasoning: Oklahoma State was absymal last year going 3-9. They lost their QB and just don't have a great team. Mike Gundy is a good head coach, but Oregon is just too talented. On top of that, Oregon get this game at home.

Week 3 @ Northwestern

Prediction: 34-7, Win

Reasoning: This is Oregon’s first road game of the season, so all eyes will be on Dante Moore. Northwestern isn’t a good team, and Oregon should cruise to a win, but this game could still tell us a lot about Moore. Northwestern will be starting SMU transfer Preston Stone, who followed up a great 2023 season with a surprisingly bad 2024. If he can return to form, Northwestern might put up more than seven points. Either way, Oregon should win comfortably.

Week 4 vs Oregon State

Prediction: 48-14, Win

Reasoning: Oregon State just isn’t a good team. They did land a solid quarterback transfer in Malik Murphy, but he isn’t good enough to make up for everything else they’re missing. Oregon blew them out last year, and I think they’ll do it again this season.

Week 5 @ Penn State

Prediction: 27-24, Loss

Reasoning: Oregon could easily win this game, but having a first-year starting quarterback in Dante Moore go up against Penn State’s White Out crowd could make it a tough night for him. On top of that, Penn State is bringing back a ton of players, including their quarterback. I predicted Oregon to lose to Ohio State last year, and they proved me wrong. I’ll take the same approach here and pick Penn State.

Week 6 vs Indiana

Prediction: 35-20, Win

Reasoning: Indiana made the playoffs last year and brought in some quality transfers, led by former Cal quarterback Fernando Mendoza. I think Indiana will be a good team again this season, but Oregon is just too talented to lose this game.

Week 7 @ Rutgers

Prediction: 38-7, Win

Reasoning: Rutgers will be a solid team this year, but they’re nowhere near Oregon’s talent level. This game could end up being closer than I predicted, but I think Rutgers will struggle to put points on the board.

Week 8 vs Wisconsin

Prediction: 52-3, Win

Reasoning: This was Oregon’s trap game last year, but this time it’s at home and Wisconsin is expected to be worse. I expect Oregon to run away with this one.

Week 9 @ Iowa

Prediction: 31-10, Win

Reasoning: Iowa always has a great defense but an awful offense. This could be a trap game for Oregon, but I think the Ducks' offense will be too explosive and eventually open things up. Iowa brought in an FCS star at quarterback, but he won’t be enough to take down Oregon.

Week 10 vs Minnesota

Prediction: 45-10, Win

Reasoning: Minnesota’s best player is running back Darius Taylor. While he’s a solid player, he isn’t good enough to carry the team. Oregon should win this one without much trouble.

Week 11 vs USC

Prediction: 38-17

Reasoning: USC should be an average team this season. They’re led by quarterback Jayden Maiava, but he isn’t anything special. On top of that, they lost a lot of key players to the portal. Oregon should be able to win this one fairly comfortably.

Week 12 @ Washington

Prediction: 41-21, Win

Reasoning: Washington should be an improved team this year, led by quarterback Demond Williams, who looked very good last season. While he’s a talented player, Washington will likely get dominated in the trenches once again. I think Oregon wins this one comfortably.

Overall Record: 11-1
