Oregon plays football in eleven days and just finished its final fall scrimmage before its game against Montana State. This will ne Oregon's most talented team on paper, it's just young and inexperienced. If this team can find their groove, watch out. With that said. here are my updated depth chart projections.

Quarterback:

Starter: Dante Moore, RS SO

Backup: Austin Novosad, RS SO

Reasoning: Both of these QBs are really good and would start at most other schools, but Dante is too talented and has a slightly better arm. The job is his to lose.

Running Back:

Starter: Mahki Hughes, RS JR

Backup: Noah Whittington, RS SR

Reasoning: Oregon’s running back room is loaded and led by Hughes and Whittington. I expect it to look similar to last season with Hughes taking over the Jordan James role. Riggs and Limar should also see meaningful snaps.

Tight End:

Starter: Kenyon Sadiq, JR

Backup: Jamari Johnson, RS SO OR Roger Saleapaga, SO

Reasoning: Kenyon is clearly the starter and I believe he will be a first or second round pick, but the tight end two spot is getting interesting. Most expected Jamari Johnson to take that role, and while he still might, Roger Saleapaga has been coming on strong and has added a lot of weight.

X Wide Receiver:

Starter: Dakorien Moore, FR

Backup: Kyler Kasper, RS JR OR Malik Benson, SR

Reasoning: The X spot would usually go to Evan Stewart, but since he’s injured, I think Dakorien Moore makes the most sense there because he’s the most talented in the room.

Z Wide Receiver:

Starter: Kyler Kasper, RS JR OR Jeremiah McClellan, RS FR

Backup: Dillon Gresham, RS FR

Reasoning: This spot was probably Dakorien’s before the Stewart injury, but now Oregon will have to mix and match until they find the right combination. I think Kasper and McClellan are the best options right now, with Gresham not far behind.

F (Slot) Wide Receiver:

Starter: Justius Lowe, RS JR

Backup: Gary Bryant Jr, SR

Reasoning: The slot looks like the easiest receiver spot to predict. Lowe and Bryant have played it a lot and are both capable of making big plays. I also expect Dakorien Moore to get some snaps there.

Left Tackle:

Starter: Isaiah World, SR

Backup: Fox Crader, RS FR

Reasoning: Isaiah World is clearly the starter, and if he has a good year he could be a first round pick. The tackle depth is a bit concerning, as Crader has improved since his freshman year but still hasn’t played a meaningful snap. Staying healthy will be crucial.

Left Guard:

Starter: Emmanuel Pregnon, RS SR

Backup: Dave Iuli, RS JR

Reasoning: Like World, Pregnon was brought in to start. He’s very good and should be a high draft pick next year. Dave Iuli will rotate between both guard spots when needed and is also getting reps at center.

Center:

Starter: Iapani Laloulu, JR

Backup: Dave Iuli, RS JR

Reasoning: Poncho is the clear starter, and Iuli has been taking reps at center in case Poncho gets hurt. Charlie Pickard and Devin Brooks could also step in, but Iuli would be the first option.

Right Guard:

Starter: Matthew Bedford, RS SR

Backup: Dave Iuli, RS JR

Reasoning: Bedford has been solid in camp, and I think he and Iuli are pretty close for this spot. Since Iuli is cross-training so much, it makes sense to go with Bedford. Kawika Rodgers is another guard who can play, and I’ve heard good things about true freshman Douglas Utu too.

Right Tackle:

Starter: Alex Harkey, SR

Backup: Genorris Wilson, RS SO

Reasoning: All three offensive line transfers Oregon brought in are expected to start in week one, including Harkey, who should perform similarly to Ajani Cornelius last season. The depth is still a bit concerning, as Wilson is the likely second option and hasn’t played many meaningful snaps.
