Oregon Wide Receiver Recruiting: The Latest

RECRUITING FOOTBALL

In 2025, Oregon landed the No. 1 wide receiver in the nation, 5-star Dakorien Moore, and also added 4-star Cooper Perry to the class. The haul could’ve been even better had 5-star Dallas Wilson honored his signature, but he ultimately signed with Florida. As for the 2026 cycle, Oregon is still searching for its first wide receiver commit. Here's a rundown of the targets they're pursuing and the latest on each one.

5-star Ethan "Boobie" Feaster (No. 16 NATL on Rivals)

Oregon will host 5-star Ethan "Boobie" Feaster for the Spring Game on April 26, but the Ducks have plenty of ground to make up in his recruitment. LSU is viewed as the current leader, with Texas A&M likely running second. Feaster has already announced several of his official visits—and Oregon didn’t make the cut. The goal for this visit will be to impress enough to earn a return trip down the line.

4-star Kayden Dixon-Wyatt (No. 31 on Rivals)

Dixon-Wyatt is fresh off a visit to Oregon, and the Ducks are firmly in the mix. Ohio State poses the biggest threat, while USC and Texas remain in the hunt as well. Right now, it’s a tight battle between Oregon and the Buckeyes, and his official visits will play a major role in shaping the final decision. The good news for Oregon—they’ll get his last OV.

4-star WR Jalen Lott (No. 48 On Rivals)

Lott visited Oregon back in March, and since then, the Ducks have started to build real momentum. Texas and Ohio State remain strong contenders, but for now, Oregon holds the edge. He’s scheduled to take official visits to LSU, Texas, Ohio State, and Oregon—with the Ducks getting the final shot.

4-star WR Nasir Rankin (No. 81 on 247Sports)

I previously reported that Rankin was set to visit Oregon on April 8 (tomorrow), but things have been pretty quiet on that front lately. It wouldn’t be surprising if the visit ends up getting called off, though as of now, I haven't heard anything about it. Either way, Oregon has a lot of ground to cover in this recruitment—but at the moment, it doesn’t seem like they’re pushing all that hard.

4-star WR Messiah Hampton (No. 65 on Rivals)

The No. 1 recruit in New York recently visited Eugene, and Oregon has quickly emerged as a serious contender. New wide receivers coach Ross Douglas is leading the charge here, and the Ducks are firmly in the mix to land him. He’s expected to take official visits to Penn State, Ohio State, Miami, USC, and Oregon—scheduled to be in Eugene June 13–15, with USC getting the final weekend.

4-star WR Calvin Russell (No. 18 on 247Sports)

Russell is a name that hasn’t generated much talk lately, but Oregon remains in contact. Being from Florida, distance is definitely a factor here. Unless he makes it out to Eugene for a visit, there’s not much traction to report—Oregon still has plenty of ground to make up in this one.

4-star CJ Sadler (No. 43 on Rivals)

Sadler was expected to visit Oregon this past weekend but didn’t end up making the trip. At this point, it’s unclear whether that visit will be rescheduled. He’s never been to campus, so getting him to Eugene is the first step toward making a real push. The Ducks have plenty of work to do here, but for now, they’re still in the mix.

Other targets to potentially watch:

4-stars Jabari Mack, Daniel Odom, Madden Williams, and Corey Barber.
