RECRUITING FOOTBALL

Dan Lanning and company are looking for some more momentum on the recruiting trail. It's looking like Oregon will be losing a commit as well as potentially gaining more in the near future.
Let's start with the bad news. If you've been on twitter today you've seen all the news about Oregon's tight end commit Da'Saahn Brame. He's only been committed for a few weeks but now it's looking like he will flip to Tennessee in the near future. When he first committed to Oregon, it came down to the wire. Tennessee was not far behind and now it looks like Brame has changed his mind. Oregon needs to sign at least one tight end this class but right now there is no clear answer to who it will be. It's also noteworthy that 5-Star ATH Michael Terry can play TE.
Now some good news. Oregon is trending heavily to land elite 2026 4-Star RB Tradarian Ball. He is set to visit for SNL this week and he could commit sooner than later. He's from Texas and ranks #33 overall according to 247Sports composite, so he's only 1 spot off 5-Star status. Rashaad Samples has been nothing but incredible since he has arrived.
Now some mixed news. Texas A&M is getting more confident with their chances at landing 5-Star safety Trey McNutt. I still give Oregon the edge but A&M is making a serious push and could absolutely win this battle. Oregon needs some momentum on the recruiting trail so landing McNutt would be massive.
More good news. Oregon is also trending to land speedy 2026 4-Star WR Vance Spafford. Spafford is also expected to visit for SNL and could also commit sooner than later. Junior Adams, along with Rashaad Samples, has been on fire on the recruiting trail recently.
