RECRUITING FOOTBALL

Official visits are starting to get scheduled for a number of recruits, and Oregon will be hosting several high-profile prospects again this June. Many recruits take their official visits during the summer before making their commitments in July. And one of Oregon's top targets has locked in his official visit to the ducks.
Elite 4-star tight end Brock Harris will take his official visit to Oregon on June 6th, he tells me. Harris is a 6'6, 238-pound standout from Pine View High School in Saint George, Utah. According to his 247Sports profile, he also has official visits lined up with Georgia on May 16th, Michigan on June 13th, and BYU on June 20th.
Harris is considered one of the best tight ends in the 2026 class, but he is planning to take a mission trip, effectively making him a 2027 recruit. Despite this, he remains a top priority for Oregon, which already has the No. 1 tight end in the country, Kendre Harrison, committed for 2026. If Harris joins the Ducks, he would arrive a year after Harrison, which would lock down a tight end spot for the 2027 class.
Right now, Oregon and BYU appear to be the top two schools in Harris’ recruitment, but Michigan is starting to emerge as a serious contender as well. Georgia was once considered a top two school for him, but they have faded a little since last summer. While it’s uncertain if Oregon will take two tight ends in the 2026 cycle, Harris would be an exception given his 2027 arrival date.
Harris is a consensus top-75 recruit, with his highest ranking coming from ESPN, where he is ranked No. 30 nationally. 247Sports has him at No. 45, Rivals at No. 62, and On3 at No. 73. Despite technically being a 2027 recruit, Harris remains one of Oregon’s top targets, and the Ducks are positioned right at the top of his recruitment as it continues to unfold.
