Oregon is hosting another GREAT recruiting weekend. Who's most likely to commit?
RECRUITING FOOTBALL
6/14/20252 min read
Oregon just wrapped up a massive first official visit weekend and now they're reloading with another strong group. While there may not be as much star power this time, it’s still a very solid list. Here’s my ranking of who’s most likely to end up a Duck.
8. 3-star LB Beau Jandreau
Oregon has been recruiting Jandreau for a while, but he hasn’t been as high of a priority as some of the other linebackers on their board. On top of that, with his brother already committed to Oklahoma, it’s looking likely that Beau will end up joining him in Norman.
7. 4-star DL Deuce Geralds
Ohio State looks like the team to beat for Geralds right now. He’s only made one visit to Oregon so far, and being from Georgia, it would be a long trip from home. Oregon definitely has a shot here, but it’s going to be a tough pull.
6. 4-star SAF Devin Jackson
With Xavier Lherisse already committed and both players being recruited for the slot, it could be tough to land both. That said, Oregon is actually in a pretty solid spot for Jackson right now. We’ll see how it plays out.
5. 3-star OL Dominic Harris
Harris is still expected to take his official visit to Oregon, even after recently committing to Washington. I haven’t dug too deep into this recruitment yet, so I felt this was a fair spot to place him. Oregon needs offensive linemen and doesn’t have any committed yet, so expect the Ducks to push hard for a flip.
4. 5-star EDGE Anthony Jones
Oregon is pushing hard for Jones and he's already visited numerous times. The Ducks are becoming more than just a dark horse in this recruitment. We'll see if Oregon can make another move this weekend.
3. 4-star OT Kelvin Obot
Oregon is very high on Obot’s list, and with the Ducks needing tackles in this class, he’s becoming a major target. As of now, I’d give Michigan the edge, but Oregon isn’t far behind.
2. 5-star QB Ryder Lyons
This recruitment is coming down to Oregon and BYU, and I’d call it a 50/50 at this point. Oregon and USC have led for most of the process, but the Cougars are making a strong late push. Expect a decision in the next couple of weeks.
1. 4-star CB Davon Benjamin
Oregon has been in good shape with Benjamin for a while, and he’s definitely the most likely name on this list to end up a Duck. Right now, Texas appears to be Oregon’s strongest competition.
