Latest Buzz After Last Weekends OV's
RECRUITING FOOTBALL

Oregon just wrapped up its second official visit weekend and there is some buzz around all of the recruits that were just on campus.
4-Star LB Noah Mikhail:
Mikhail's visit was fantastic. Oregon put themselves in an even better spot to land his commitment. Mikhail won't commit yet though, he will still take his Texas A&M visit next weekend and the Aggies are still serious contenders.
4-Star RB Jordon Davison:
Ohio State was the favorite heading into the visit but coming out there is some serious smoke that Oregon is team to beat. The buckeyes already have two running backs committed and adding a third is certainly in play but would be a little surprising. Davison is still slated to visited Ohio State next weekend but the ducks could be the team to be at the moment.
4-Star S Omarion Robinson:
Robinson was flying under the radar before he announced he was taking his OV last weekend. This is someone Oregon has quietly been pushing for. His visit went really well and Oregon is now the leader in this recruitment according to Steve Wiltfong. He is set to commit June 29th but still has to visit Oklahoma this weekend.
5-Star CB Na'eem Offord:
Ohio State seems like they are still in good position to sign Offord but Oregon is staying in this and making Offord think hard about his pledge to the buckeyes. This is one to keep monitoring.
5-Star TE Linkon Cure:
Cure's visit went extremely well, and according to Steve Wiltfong, Dan Lanning surprised him at the baggage claim area at the airport. Oregon has a great shot to land him but they are going to have to hold off the in-state Wildcats for his pledge. If distance was not a factor, Cure would be a duck.
4-Star DL Trajen Odom:
Ohio State was the leader coming into this visit and it's still unclear to me if Oregon did enough to overtake them. Time will tell but Oregon is still in a good spot. He heads to USC this weekend.
4-Star DL Josiah Sharma:
Alabama was the favorite before this visit but Oregon might have done enough to take the lead in this. Before this visit, I would have said Oregon had a better shot at landing Odom, but now I think it is more likely they land Sharma. Not saying they won't land Odom, I just think they are in a better spot with Sharma. Landing both would be a dream scenario. Sharma heads back to bama this weekend.
4-Star LB Gavin Nix:
I'm not sure how this visit went. Coming into the visit Oregon was either second or third but I'm not sure if they did enough to overtake Miami. Time will tell.
4-Star IOL Douglas Utu:
Utu is actually a 5-Star and top 10 recruit according to Rivals. He just finished his OV and Oregon is in a good spot. This recruitment isn't over but I feel good about where Oregon sits. Michigan and Alabama are other contenders.
5-Star DB Dorian Brew:
Brew reportedly loved his visit but the feeling is that USC and Ohio State are still in better position. I think this is someone that Oregon needs to keep chipping away at.
