Oregon signed arguably the best defensive line haul in 2024, and one of those players was Tionne Gray. Gray was standing out in practice leading up to the season, but unfortunately, he suffered an undisclosed injury that kept him out of the last few games of the season. He has an opportunity to make a significant impact for Oregon this season, and I had the opportunity to ask the redshirt freshman defensive lineman a few questions.
Question: You were obviously battling an injury last season. Would you say you’re back to 100%, or is there still some recovery left?
"I'm back at 100% and READY TO GO!"
Question: Where do you want to improve the most this offseason?
"This offseason, I want to improve my hand violence and be quicker off the ball."
Question: What are your goals for the 2025 season?
"To be consistent with dominating the line of scrimmage, running to the ball, and being the best team player I can be—no selfish plays."
Question: What’s the best advice someone has given you?
"The best advice I got is from my high school head coach: ‘Keep telling yourself you got one more in you, then after that rep, tell yourself you got another one in you, then another one, and another one.’"
Question: Who’s the strongest defensive lineman on the team?
"I will say TG (Terrance Green)—that dude is crazy strong!"
