Intel on Oregon’s Uncommitted Visitor Targets
RECRUITING FOOTBALL

Prepare to hear a few more quacks in the next week. Oregon is trending well for a couple more key targets, which would give the Ducks even more momentum heading deeper into the summer. Here’s what I know:
4-star SAF Devin Jackson
The good news should start today with Jackson set to announce his commitment at 9 AM PST. He’d become the second defensive back commit from Florida, joining Xavier Lherisse.
5-star WR Calvin Russell
Sticking with the Florida theme, Russell is set to commit on July 5th. Don’t expect Oregon to be the pick. He is almost certainly headed elsewhere.
4-star OT Kelvin Obot
Obot committed to Utah yesterday, and I'm told the Utes raised their NIL offer even further, which prompted him to commit. I previously reported that Utah had a very nice offer on the table, but it looks like they bumped it up again, and Oregon wasn’t going to match.
4-star WR Jalen Lott
It’s looking good for Oregon to land Lott on July 8th. Barring a late shift in momentum, I expect the Ducks to get this done and strengthen their wide receiver room a lott.
5-star LB Tyler Atkinson
This looks like a battle between Georgia, Texas, and Oregon for Atkinson. All three schools are still in it, but as far as I know, Georgia remains the team to beat. If Oregon wants Atkinson, they’re going to have to pay up.
4-star DL Deuce Geralds
This recruitment looks like it's coming down to Oregon, Ole Miss, and Michigan. Ohio State has fallen off, and Oregon is starting to surge. There's still time left but I'm liking Oregon's position more and more.
5-star EDGE Anthony Jones
Oregon, Alabama, and Texas A&M look like the top three for Jones. I think Oregon has a good shot to pull this off, and from what I’ve heard, the Ducks are pushing very hard here. He hasn’t set a commitment date yet.
4-star OL Jax Tanner
As of now, I think Tanner ends up elsewhere, but Oregon is still very much in the mix. He’s taking a two-year mission before starting college, and I believe BYU is the team to beat.
