Intel after another BIG Oregon recruiting weekend
RECRUITING FOOTBALL

Oregon hosted another big recruiting weekend, and once again, there’s some buzz coming out of it. I won’t be covering any of the upcoming commitments in this update, but I’ll have more on those tomorrow or Thursday. Additionally, it does not look like Dominic Harris made the visit. With that said, here’s the latest on last weekend’s visitors:
3-star LB Beau Jandreau
I still think Oklahoma is the team to beat for Jandreau, especially with the Sooners set to get the final visit. His brother is also committed to Oklahoma, so there are a lot of things trending in their favor. I don’t believe he’s as high on Oregon’s board as some of the other linebacker targets, either.
4-star DB Devin Jackson
Jackson is emerging as a very serious option for Oregon. His visit went great, and the Ducks are now near the very top of his recruitment alongside Nebraska and Miami. I think this recruitment could ultimately come down to what happens with Jett Washington, Joey O'Brien, and Jireh Edwards. Oregon likes Jackson in the slot but would also give him the opportunity to play safety.
4-star DL Deuce Geralds
Oregon helped themselves a ton with this visit. It was only his second trip to Eugene, but coming out of it, I’m told Oregon has a realistic chance at landing Geralds. That said, he still has two more visits scheduled — a midweek trip to Michigan and a weekend visit to Ohio State. If Oregon does miss on Geralds, there’s still a 2027 defensive lineman considering reclassifying, who I briefly mentioned in my last article predicting Oregon’s recruiting class.
4-star OT Kelvin Obot
This looks like a three-team race between Oregon, Michigan, and Utah. Coming out of this visit, it sounds like Oregon made another move and is emerging as the top school, with his final official visit to Michigan this weekend. Michigan appears to be Oregon's biggest competition, but don’t count out Utah — he has plenty of connections to the Utes.
4-star OL Tommy Tofi
Tofi took a surprise visit to Oregon this weekend after committing to Cal, and I’m told this recruitment is still very close. We’ll see how it unfolds, but it looks like it could still go either way.
5-star QB Ryder Lyons
Lyons is down to Oregon and BYU, and I’ve confirmed that BYU currently has the higher NIL offer on the table. This recruitment is still about as close to 50/50 as it gets, but we’ll see where things stand after his upcoming visit to BYU.
5-star EDGE Anthony Jones
Jones visit went very well and Oregon is still a major threat to pull Jones out of SEC country. If they do, Oregon would have landed the No. 1 player in Alabama two years in a row, which is looking very realistic right now.
4-star CB Davon Benjamin
Oregon is still the leader for Benjamin after another fantastic visit. Texas remains a threat, and he’s set to visit Washington this weekend. But I’m told Oregon is still leading the pack heading into the final official visit weekend.
