FLIP WATCH: Who Is Oregon Trying To Flip?

RECRUITING FOOTBALL

4-Star DL Malik Autry (Auburn Commit):

Autry is already built for the next level as he's listed at 6'5.5 320. He is a borderline 5-Star recruit and teams like Ohio State and Florida are also working to flip him. Autry was expected at the Spring Game but that never happened. As of right now he has an official visit lined up for June 21st but if Oregon is going to flip him they likely need him to appear on campus at least once more. Oregon has work to do but they are not out of it.

4-Star CB Blake Woodby (Ohio State):

Rivals Adam Gorney reported that Oregon was pushing to flip Woodby and that proved to be true after he visited for the Spring Game. After his visit it has been pretty quiet around him but that doesn't mean the visit didn't go well. In fact, I feel confident saying Oregon isn't too far behind Ohio State. Woodby has been on campus multiple times already and his former high school teammate Ify Obidegwu is at Oregon. Additionally, Ohio State already has two 5-Star CBs committed so that could impact this recruitment.

5-Star WR Dakorien Moore (LSU):

This is a more obvious name so I won't go into too much detail but Oregon is in a good spot with Moore. I'm not sure if they lead but they are a serious threat to flip him. Currently he has no official visits lined up.

4-Star QB Keelon Russell (SMU):

Russell is a big time QB who's stock has exploded recently. Oregon has been on him for a few months now but they finally offered him last week. Oregon doesn't lead but they are certainly in the game. He needs to appear on campus if Oregon wants to flip him. He's currently committed to SMU but I don't see him sticking. Alabama, Texas, Ole Miss, or Oregon will end up flipping him.

4-Star RB Ricky Stewart Jr (Texas):

I'm not sure how hard Oregon is pushing here but he has an official visit scheduled for June 7th. Oregon already has Dierre Hill committed and they are in the top 4 for Jordon Davison. Nonetheless, Oregon would not be hosting him if they did not think they had a chance at flipping him.

4-Star QB Husan Longstreet (Texas A&M):

Oregon wants to add a second QB in this class but they won't add just any QB, they want an elite talent. Longstreet is a borderline 5-Star and Oregon really likes him. My guess is he pops up on campus at least one more time before he signs. I think Oregon has a better shot at flipping Keelon Russell but nonetheless Oregon is still in the game here.

4-Star CB Brandon Lockhart (USC):

Lockhart recently appeared on campus and it must have went really well because we have already seen two crystal balls for him to flip to Oregon. Oregon looks to be the favorite now but that doesn't necessarily mean we will see a flip soon. It's definitely possible but I bet he takes his time. Regardless, Oregon is in great position moving forward.
