A big recruiting run could be brewing for Oregon

Oregon currently has ten commitments, and its class is ranked No. 31 overall by 247Sports. There’s still plenty of room left, and the Ducks look poised to go on a big run in the coming weeks. Momentum is building, with Oregon trending positively for several key targets. Here’s where things stand:

5-star OT Immanuel Iheanacho

It’s a matter of when, not if, for Iheanacho. Oregon’s position continues to strengthen with each passing day. Expect a commitment sooner rather than later.

4-star CB Davon Benjamin

I still like Oregon to eventually land Benjamin. Michigan, Texas, and Washington are all in the mix, but the Ducks remain the team to beat. As of now, no commitment date has been set.

4-star SAF Devin Jackson

On3’s Steve Wiltfong logged a prediction for Oregon to land Jackson. I haven’t yet confirmed if the Ducks are officially in front, but they made a huge impression during his official visit. That said, Wiltfong is as reliable as it gets, so it’s safe to say Oregon leads for now, and I’ll work to confirm that myself. Jackson is set to announce his commitment on July 3rd.

4-star WR Jalen Lott

I think Oregon holds the edge over USC for Lott. This one doesn’t appear to be wrapped up just yet, but as of now, I like Oregon’s position heading into his July 8th commitment.

4-star DL Deuce Geralds

I’m feeling A LOT better about Oregon’s chances with Geralds. Ohio State is still in it, but they've faded a bit, and it now looks like Oregon, Michigan, and Ole Miss are the teams to watch. I’m not ready to call the Ducks the leader just yet, but I’m hearing positive things about their standing in this recruitment. Geralds doesn’t have a commitment date set, but a decision is expected in the next few weeks.

4-star LB Nick Abrams

It’s starting to sound like Oregon has the lead for Abrams heading into his July 16th commitment. Alabama, Georgia, and Michigan are still in the mix, but from what I’ve gathered, the Ducks look like the team to beat with a little over two weeks to go. This one is not over yet, though.

4-star OL Tommy Tofi

I’m starting to like Oregon’s position a little more with Tofi. Like with Geralds, I’m not ready to call the Ducks the leader just yet, but I’ve heard enough positive buzz to make me feel better about Oregon eventually flipping him from Cal.

4-star OT Kelvin Obot

This recruitment looks like its coming down to Oregon and Utah. Oregon was trending following his OV, and I still think the Ducks have the slight edge in this recruitment. He has more connections to Utah, and I'm told the Utes are offering a very nice NIL deal to him, but I'm still riding with Oregon as of now.
