5-Star OT Kodi Greene Schedules Return Visit to Oregon
RECRUITING FOOTBALL

It hasn’t been the best month for Oregon on the recruiting trail. The Ducks lost two key commitments on the defensive line in blue-chip prospects Bott Mulitalo and Tomuhini Topui. While Oregon remains firmly in the mix for Topui, Mulitalo seems locked in on playing offensive tackle—where the Ducks already have higher-priority targets. After a rocky March, Oregon is hoping April brings better momentum, and it’s starting with a big-time visitor coming back to campus.
Elite 5-star offensive tackle Kodi Greene tells me he will be back in Eugene from April 4 through April 6. Greene was just at USC over the weekend, making this return trip to Oregon a significant one. He remains firmly committed to the Ducks, but that hasn’t stopped schools like USC and Texas from continuing to push. Greene is one of the top offensive linemen in the nation, and programs aren’t giving up easily.
Greene is also expected to visit Texas sometime this spring. Right now, USC appears to be the bigger threat—slightly—because they’re recruiting him more aggressively and have the benefit of proximity. Texas, on the other hand, has made a strong impression with their offensive line development. Both of their starting tackles, Kelvin Banks and Cameron Williams, are projected high in the upcoming NFL Draft, with Banks likely going in the first round. That kind of success has Greene’s attention.
Despite the outside interest, Greene is going to be a very tough flip. His best relationships are at Oregon, and the Ducks have their own track record of developing offensive tackles. Josh Conerly Jr. is expected to be a first or early second-round pick, and Ajani Cornelius will be selected in the mid rounds. Unless Oregon somehow lands both Jackson Cantwell and Immanuel Iheanacho—which is highly unlikely—there’s little reason for concern right now. Still, as long as Greene takes visits, things can always shift.
Greene won’t be the only recruit in Eugene next weekend. Oregon will also host 4-star 2026 wide receiver CJ Sadler and 5-star 2027 wideout Dakota Guerrant. There may be other visitors as well, but those two have been confirmed. It’s shaping up to be an important weekend for Oregon recruiting as the Ducks look to turn the page from a tough March and build momentum heading deeper into the spring.
